On March 18, Skinner will launch an incredible auction event that features more than 500 lots, including standout Fine Art Nouveau jewelry. Included in this auction are pieces from Boucheron, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Tiffany & Co., and, amazingly, Pablo Picasso. Three very early silver pieces by the artist will go on the market for the first time: A satyr pendant; a brooch with profile of the artist’s son Claude; and a sun pendant.

“The Picasso offerings in this auction are truly special. Not only do these pieces exhibit an experimental style by the artist, they are all one-of-a-kind, in contrast to Picasso’s editioned jewelry,” said Gloria Lieberman, Vice President at Skinner, Inc., in a press release.

Other standouts going up for auction: A signed platinum and diamond solitaire by Taffin; an Edwardian amethyst and diamond drapery brooch by Cartier; an Art Nouveau gold, enamel, and diamond brooch attributed to Boucheron, c. 1900; and several works by Cartier.
