International fine jeweler and watchmaker Harry Winston has partnered with amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, in the largest corporate partnership in the foundation’s history. Harry Winston will act as the presenting sponsor for various global fundraising events, and will offer direct financial support and in-kind donations. The house will become a major backer of amfAR’s Countdown to a Cure initiative, which works on supporting innovative, scientific research that is committed to finding a cure for HIV/AIDS by 2020. The first event sponsored by the new partnership will be amfAR’s annual New York City gala on Feb. 11.
