Last week Cartier unveiled its breathtaking Ballon Bleu de Cartier Serti Vibrant unisex watch in Geneva at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) luxury watch show. The brilliant timepiece suggests a starry night with hundreds of brilliant-cut diamonds on a sapphire cabochon. The diamonds are set into springs that Cartier claims even the pulsing of a heartbeat through your wrist will set into motion, making them appear to vibrate. Sixteen maisons, including Cartier, brought out their most complex timepieces at the exclusive trade show. This year marks SIHH’s 25th year showcasing the year’s most technologically advanced horologic creations.
