Nature comes to life with Van Cleef & Arpels’s latest limited edition timepieces. Part of the enchanting Poetic Complications collection, the Lady Arpels Jour Nuit Oiseaux de Paradis and the Lady Arpels Jour Nuit Coccinelles mesmerize with 24-hour movement that has different scenes passing before the wearer’s eyes with each cycle of the sun and moon. What starts out as a bird of paradise perched upon a bird of paradise flower on the Lady Arpels Jour Nuit Oiseaux de Paradis gives way, at nightfall, to the bird of paradise basking in a diamond moon. Meanwhile, the Lady Arpels Jour Nuit Coccinelles sees two ladybugs take flight, chased through the hours by a bouquet of diamond-set flowers. Each design is crafted from white gold, cloisonné enamel, and champlevé enamel, in addition to their diamond accents. Admirers? They shouldn’t hesitate to pounce: only 22 pieces are to be released of each watch.
