With luxe labels from Boucheron and Chopard, to De Grisogono and Cartier going under the hammer, the March 4 Jewellery sale at Christie’s South Kensington promises plenty of eye candy. But perhaps none capture the imagination more than Lot 4, Lot 5, and Lot 7. The three pieces from Van Cleef & Arpels’s “Flying Beauties” collection bring Nature’s winged royalty to life with glittering white and yellow diamonds. Together, the butterfly-modeled offerings — a necklace, a ring, and a pair of earrings — are estimated to draw in upwards of $18,492. Catch these, as well as the rest of the jaw-dropping Jewellery catalogue, on view at 85 Old Brompton Road in London, February 28 to March 3.
