BY LESLIE JORDAN CLARY

The late Hollywood icon Lauren Bacall loved Jean Schlumberger’s designs, and owned several of his creations. These and more than 30 other pieces of jewelry from Bacall’s personal collection will go up for bid March 31 and April 1 in New York City. The auction is being held by Bonhams, which is well known for its dedicated jewelry auctions. In addition to Schlumberger pieces, rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings from the likes of Tiffany, Cartier, and Chanel will be auctioned. The jewelry is part of an extensive 700-lot auction of the Lauren Bacall collection.
