Dreweatts and Bloomsbury’s upcoming Fine Watches, Pens and Luxury Accessories sale will include a number of vintage wristwatches in sleek, modern styles that are today back in vogue. Some of these classic Art Deco designs come from top French ateliers and include a woman’s retro sapphire and ruby wristwatch from the 1940s and a synthetic ruby bangle watch. Cartier, Chopard, Hermes, and other major brands will have representative work. Collectors of 20th century men’s wristwatches will also find an exclusive selection from Bretling, Patek Philippe, and others. The sale will be held July 9 at Donnington Priory Oxford Road in Berkshire.
