There’s been increased demand for colored gemstones in recent years — but diamonds still provide a glamorous backdrop. The emerald ring in Fabergé’s new ad, alone, boasts 251 round white diamonds and 14 baguette diamonds. Photo courtesy Fabergé.

While diamonds are forever, Fabergé wants buyers to know its colored gemstones are “Forever. And Ever.” The tongue-in-cheek take on the diamond industry’s long-standing tagline features in the brand’s latest, glittering campaign. Hammering home the unique luxury of emeralds and sapphires — which, along with rubies, are actually far rarer than diamonds — the ad spotlights a 19.43-carat cabochon sapphire and a 13.74-carat Zambian emerald from the Fabergé Devotion collection. The line’s gorgeous, 7.69-carat cushion-cut spinel ring rounds out the vibrant grouping.
