Cartier’s Eau de Cartier line was first developed in 2001 by perfumer Christine Nagel. The latest and recently released edition, Eau de Cartier Vetiver Bleu, expands on the original fragrance by blending licorice, wood, and mint with Haitian vetiver to create a cologne that is simple and fresh. While the vetiver dominates, it doesn’t overpower, but rather provides a discrete smoky fragrance that helps soften the other accents. While the Eau de Cartier line is marketed as unisex, Vetiver Bleu’s chilly menthol air gives it a pronounced masculine scent.
