Brilliant diamonds and richly hued colored gems headline Bonhams London Fine Jewelry sale on April 20. The highlight of the show is a vintage Harry Winston 15.52-carat diamond single-stone ring. A pair of diamond earrings from 1976 complements the ring. Other featured items include several signed pieces including a stunning 1965 diamond and ruby “Serpenti” watch from Bulgari and a rare collection of bird designs by Cartier. A number of antique pieces that include sapphires from Kashmir will also be for sale. Kashmir sapphires are the most highly prized sapphires in the world for their color and exquisite beauty. The London auction begins at noon.
