Tiffany & Co. recently celebrated the opening of its first Venice boutique with a glamorous gala that included top European celebrities and socialites including Bianca, Costanza della Gherardesca, and Franca Coin. The theme of the sparkling event was Venice’s famous lights and the splendor of diamonds. Remaining true to its roots, the store incorporates classic motifs from Tiffany’s New York flagship store such as the Art Deco-style façade and Tiffany Blue glass. New York artist Michele Oka Doner designed panels of white gold wisteria and blooming magnolias in gold sconces that were inspired by the stained glass works of Louis Comfort Tiffany, son of the company’s founder. The new 780-square foot boutique is the brand’s ninth store in Italy.
