Kylie Jenner’s visible passion for the Cartier Love bracelet has made it a sought-after item. Originally designed in 1969 by Aldo Cipullo, the line has expanded to include cufflinks, rings, earrings, necklaces and watches. Similarities can be seen between the Love bracelet and medieval chastity belts. Like its ancient counterpart, the bracelet can only be opened with a special screwdriver. The screwdriver can also be worn as a necklace and the two items symbolize commitment with one person locked to the other. The Love bracelet has been called the most successful line in Cartier’s history.
