The Tourbillon Mysterieux Azure Pendant watch from Cartier combines horological technology with the mystery of blue sapphires and diamonds to create this high jewelry timepiece. The movement is a double mystery tourbillon, the Caliber 9463, which was developed by Cartier. It is suspended between sapphire crystals and is visible at the center of the transparent dial. The watch is stylized to represent a butterfly with diamond-studded wings bordered by fine sapphires. The star of this amazing watch is a stunning 25.93-carat cornflower blue sapphire from Sri Lanka that dangles from the bottom as a detachable pendant. The watch took almost 2,050 hours of collaborative work to create.
