Fabergé’s jewel-bedecked Pine Cone Egg was created in 1900 — but it’s still inspiring whimsy today. Namely, a one-of-a-kind guitar. Fender Custom Shop senior master builder Yuriy Shishkov has handcrafted the “Pine Cone Stratocaster,” which glitters with 550 high-quality diamonds and 10 feet of 18 karat gold. Although a showpiece on its own, the instrument also comes accompanied by a matching, limited edition Fabergé egg. Like the original Pine Cone masterpiece, this replica opens to reveal a surprise elephant trinket inside.
