There are just six jewelers exhibiting in the Haute Joaillerie section of TEFAF Maastricht, the world’s leading art fair. But it’s clear to see why Graff Diamonds deserves a spot. For the 2015 event, the label is celebrating stone-led design, displaying dazzling pieces that take shape around a unique, rare, or even famous diamond or precious gemstone. Case in point: Le Collier Bleu de Rêve. The necklace, which debuted at the 2014 Biennale des Antiquaires, centers around a 10.47-carat fancy vivid blue, internally flawless briolette diamond drop. Gorgeously contrasted with a 4.22-carat old-mine Colombian emerald, the unusual stone — and its striking counterpart — continue to draw the eye even as a wave of white diamonds sprout around them. This astonishing accomplishment in craftsmanship and more from Graff are on view at TEFAF Maastricht through March 22.
