Couture week in Paris got an extra dose of razzle-dazzle this July courtesy of the first-ever High Jewelry and Timepieces Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner. Hosted by the National Jewelry Institute and the Parsons School of Design, the event singled out the best creation from each new jewelry and timepiece collection. Among the 39 brands whose pieces were honored for their design, creativity, and innovation were Boucheron, Fabergé, Van Cleef & Arpels, Louis Vuitton, and Dior. Winning the prize for Chanel was the label’s Les Eternelles De Chanel Camélia cuff watch. Crafted from 18-carat white gold and 45 carats of diamonds, the stunning accessory features founder Coco Chanel’s favorite flower.
