In celebration of this year’s 50th Super Bowl, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and the National Football League (NFL) partnered to create 50 innovative football designs in an initiative called CFDA + NFL Super Bowl 50. Each piece designed by top designers such as Francesca Amfitheatrof of Tiffany & Co., Rachel Zoe, and Nicole Miller contains information about the designer’s favorite football team, their inspiration, and materials used. The most in-demand piece was the football designed by Francesca Amfitheatrof, which received more than 100 bids and sold for just over $30,000.
