Metamorphosis continues for the Two Butterfly collection from Van Cleef & Arpels. Now draped in iridescent mother-of-pearl, the newest winged creations — a pendant, earrings and a between-the-finger ring — have been crafted from equally radiant pink gold for an impossibly fresh effect. On each, a marquise-cut diamond acts as a stunning stand-in for the creature’s body. But the gemstone finds even more prominence on the ring, which features more than 30 round diamonds speckling a second, inverted butterfly’s wings.
