Whether on the hunt for something classic or contemporary, collectors are in for a treat at Sotheby’s New York on February 5. The luxury auction house’s upcoming Important Jewels sale spans more than 100 years of design, including head-turning pieces from Boucheron, Van Cleef & Arpels, David Webb, and more. Of special note are Lot 382 and Lot 383: two pairs of earclips by coveted but rarely available JAR. Combined, the diamond-laden baubles are anticipated to draw in upwards of $85,000. They, and the rest of the 391 Important Jewels lots, will be on view daily in New York beginning January 31, through the sale.
