“A Quest for Beauty: The Art of Van Cleef & Arpels,” an exhibition of 200 select items from the Van Cleef & Arpels private collection, debuted at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, California, on October 27. The show includes pieces worn from the brand’s most prominent ambassadors, including Grace Kelly and Elizabeth Taylor, and in the likes of its retrospectives, will be categorized into four major themes (nature, elegance, exoticism, and femininity). The Paris-based jewelry house, which has delivered a steady repertoire of museum showings in the last few years, including in Tokyo and Shanghai, hopes to tour this portfolio in Chicago and Houston in 2014. This exhibit is set to run through February 15, 2014.
