It’s beginning to look a lot like Easter at Harrods – a very lavish Easter, thanks to Fabergé’s invasion of the storied London department store. From now until March 28, “Fabergé at Harrods” has the famed jeweler delighting shoppers with an interactive pop-up boutique. And the magic starts before customers even step foot in the door. Four windows on Brompton Road mesmerize with a 3D moving projection of iconic Fabergé egg designs, the morphing patterns and colors of which are customized by visitors at the specially installed Fabergé Interactive Desk. Continuing the fun, Harrods also invites customers to take part in a Fabergé Egg Hunt. Giant eggs designed by artists for charity are hidden throughout the retailer — and finding one gives visitors a chance to enter to win one of three bejeweled Fabergé pendants. For those not wanting to leave their souvenir to chance, the Fabergé Egg Bar awaits, tempting with the label’s signature egg pendant and charm designs, in addition to an exclusive selection of new rings from the Devotion collection.
