Italian luxury jeweler Bulgari has announced its first boutique presence in Canada. The 130-year-old brand has opened its first flagship boutique in Toronto’s Yorkdale Mall. The new store’s 1,800 square feet of marble and stone hearkens back to Bulgari’s historic Roman roots with towering columns and other iconic emblems of the brand. Most recognizable is the Condotti eight-pointed star, which lies at the entrance. The original Condotti star, which is part of the flooring, symbolizes harmony with its representation of the year’s two solstices and equinoxes, and is a unifying emblem for Bulgari boutiques worldwide.
