In celebration of Vogue’s centenary, a stunning display of photographs, Vogue the Jewelry, taken from the book of the same title and curated by Carol Woolton, is on display at Cartier’s Old Bond Street boutique in London. The photos span close to a hundred years of fashion from the Roaring Twenties to the era of Art Deco, and each one prominently features one of Cartier’s most iconic designs. One moody 1926 photograph by Cecil Beaton depicts an austere Duchess of Windsor wearing a Cartier bracelet with nine Latin gem-set crosses. A 1971 shot by Lord Snowdon shows Elizabeth Taylor and her 69.42-carat ring given to her by Richard Burton. The show runs from May 5 to May 31 at Cartier boutique, 40-41 Old Bond Street.
