The Lady Compliquée Peacock has no problem attracting attention with its ornate, shiny feathers. In fact, the emerald version of the fabulous Fabergé timepiece has just won the Ladies’ Complication category at the second edition of the Luxembourg Watch Fair. The award — for which the design competed against stunning pieces from Ludovic Ballouard, Parmigiani Fleurier, and Piaget — was awarded based on technical achievement and femininity. And the emerald Lady Compliquée Peacock is teeming with both. Set with glistening diamonds and emeralds, the 38mm timepiece features a hand-engraved, 18 karat rose gold peacock whose feathers fan out to indicate the passing of minutes, a movement exclusively developed for Fabergé by watch manufacturer Agenhor. A classic alligator strap and mother-of-pearl details further enhance the beauty of the constantly evolving dial. Previously, a white variation of the impressive design took home the Ladies’ High-Mech prize at the prestigious Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.
