Expansion continues for Graff Diamonds. The luxury jeweler now counts more than 50 boutiques in its portfolio with the opening of a new store in Baku, Azerbaijan — its first location in the Caspian Sea-abutting country. And, for Graff’s pioneer space in the nation’s capital, the emphasis is on elegance. Rich walnut-paneled walls, dichroic glass mirrors, and plush fabrics surround golden cases displaying some of the world’s most magnificent baubles. While the pieces would glitter and astound no matter their environment, a chandelier comprised of hundreds of hand-blown glass spheres in warm golden and amber tones provides further illumination. The jaw-dropping fixture hangs from a dramatic double-height ceiling, a feature which also affords the opportunity for a VIP mezzanine overlooking the exquisite, gem-filled landscape below. The entire alluring experience was created by Graff’s Monaco-based, in-house interior design team.
