In an age when wristwatches are becoming increasingly complex, Harry Winston has opted for a simple, yet elegant, design. The Midnight Feathers Automatic 42 mm is more evocative of a northern wood than the space age. Each handcrafted dial has slight variations in its feathered design depending on the touch of the artist. To create the delicate feathering effect, Harry Winston craftsmen have adapted the art of plumasserie, or feather art, an old and rare technique that seeks to recreate patterns in the natural world. The Midnight Feathers watch is truly a marriage of nature and science. Turn it over and the transparent case back reveals an intricate mechanical automatic winding movement.
