Mikimoto dazzled visitors to Baselworld 2015 with four spectacular necklaces, three of which sold before noon on opening day. The Plumage necklace comes with feathers accents among five strands of akoya and South Sea pearls. The Stream necklace drapes the body with cascading rivers of akoya pearls and diamonds. Another sweeping design, the Duet, features a 13.5 X 10 mm conch pearl as an accent. The most unusual of the four, the Universe necklace, uses 18k white gold and diamond for a coiled necklace ending in a droplet of ten South Sea pearls. The four one-of-a-kind creations demonstrate a theme among brands this year for unique, high-end designs.
