Roughly $99 million worth of treasure is waiting to be scooped up by high bidders at Sotheby’s Hong Kong. The auction house’s April 6 Magnificent Jewels & Jadeite sale boasts 319 lots, with stunning selections from Boucheron, Graff, Van Cleef & Arpels, Chaumet, and more. Standout is Lot 1897: a 77.77-carat fancy vivid yellow diamond ring. Its awe-inspiring, cushion-shaped stone can be detached from the accompanying diamond-set shank and fit for wear as a pendant. Alone, the lot is expected to draw in up to $7.5 million.
