Tiffany & Co. has just signed a licensing agreement with Coty, the world’s largest luxury perfume maker, to help expand their fragrance portfolio. While a number of jewelers such as Chanel and Bulgari have also made a name for themselves in the perfume sector, until now fragrance has not been one of Tiffany’s main priorities. Tiffany does, for the record, carry a limited number of scents. Under the new agreement, Coty will develop, create, and distribute a new line of Tiffany fragrances for both men and women that will be sold at the brand’s boutiques and some department stores. The two companies are not yet disclosing when these new fragrances will be available or what their cost will be.
