Among the display’s highlights? The magnificent Midnight Planétarium Watch (at top in the above case), which features a dial with mobile, stone depictions of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Earth.

Guests at the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz in snowy Switzerland were treated to an extra dose of razzle dazzle this holiday season. From December 21 to January 7, the Van Cleef & Arpels Winter Salon set up sparkling shop in the locale’s grand Empire Ballroom. Sprinkled among dreamily lit trees, glowing display cases held stunning creations from a myriad of the brand’s collections, including Palmyre, Poetic Complications, and Snowflake offerings. And diamonds were the main stone drawing oohs and aahs. A sweet, handmade Snowflake necklace and coordinating Snowflake ear clips, alone, twinkled with over 37 carats of the sought-after gems.
