Looking back, it might seem like the inspiration for today’s wristwatches came from science fiction. This is especially true with dive watches, which are equipped with some of the most precise technology on the planet. A recent addition to luxury dive watches, the Calibre de Cartier Diver Watch celebrated its global launch at The Related Group’s Paraiso Bay sales center in Miami. The watch combines some of the day’s most sophisticated mechanisms with a classic design. Like all true dive watches, the Cartier diver’s watch follows specifications set out in ISO water-resistant watch standards. This means the watch is suitable for actual scuba diving at depths of 330 feet or more and is engraved on the back with “Diver’s watch 300m.”
