The closing to any fashion show is always a highly anticipated event, as this is where the designer makes his or her final statement about the season’s fashion. This year Karl Lagerfeld closed Chanel’s Fall 2014-15 show at Paris Fashion Week, “Le Corbusier goes to Versailles,” with seven-months-pregnant model Ashleigh Good wearing a white tent dress with gold trim. All the selections for this collection followed a baroque theme using frosty white and gold brocade, some in complex geometric patterns. A gilded, baroque mirror at the top of the runway added to the atmosphere of a modern-day legend.
