Tiffany & Co. and Sarine Technologies Ltd. have entered into a technological partnership. Based on standards of diamond grading set by Tiffany, Sarine agreed to develop an advanced automated system for grading the symmetry of polished diamonds. The result of this patent-pending technology is Sarine’s new DiaMension™ Axiom, which measures intricate diamond features invisible to the naked eye. Using advanced video imagery analysis and microscopic magnification this machine will enable Tiffany gemologists to more efficiently and accurately measure a diamond’s facet symmetry.
